A delegation is a group of students who attend a MUN. They can either be students from the same school, or even students from different schools. It is necessary for a delegation to be lead by a person to ensure the delegation functions in an efficient way; it can be lead either by a head delegate or a faculty advisor. 

A head delegate is a student who leads and guides a particular student delegation participating in a MUN, and will also be taking part in the conference as a delegate. 

A faculty advisor is person who guides a particular student delegation, and is not eligible to be a delegate; he/she must be 19 or above to take up this role. A faculty advisor is usually a teacher who leads a delegation from his/her school, but can also be an adult who leads a delegation with a group of students. 

If you wish to register your delegation, please follow the steps below:

Before proceeding, make sure you have a mymun account.

Step 1: Login to your account and start the registration process.

The process for delegation registrations are very similar; this will also help you guide your delegates with registration.

Step 2: If you're a student registering on behalf of your delegation, select "head delegate"; if you're an adult, select "Faculty advisor" 

You can find this option in step 2 of the registration process 

Step 3: Registering your delegation 

  • Find the name of your delegation in the name field. 

You may not be able to find your delegation name if you're new here. In that case, you may create one just by entering your delegation's name in the name field.

Note: Make sure you choose a good name at first. You may not be able to change it later!

  • You may enter all other details regarding your delegation, and proceed to the next step

Step 4: Finish the registration process

Each step is verified and saved as you go through the application process. You will have a chance to review your full application in the last and final step, before finally submitting it to us. 

When you're ready; click the "Submit Application" button at the top of the page to submit your application for SIMUN!

If nothing went wrong, you should be greeted with a confirmation message:

That's it! You have successfully submitted your application to SIMUN!
